Who We Are
VTSF is a 501(3)(c) innovation initiative that supports action research and learning communities of practice interested in learning, implementing, and improving ideas. It draws ideas from research-based frameworks.
VTSF was founded in 2007 in a pre-service class at Florida International University. After graduating, the students were eager to continue learning and implementing cutting-edge thinking strategies such as the Visible Thinking approach to promote deep learning in young children. This core learning community expanded to local and international schools. Dr. Salmon took the lead in creating this space for students and teachers. We were pioneers in implementing Visible Thinking ideas in early childhood settings.
